Terry Batliner, DDS

Dr. Terry Batliner is a true Colorado dentist. Born and raised in east Denver, he went to college at the University of Northern Colorado before receiving his dental training at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and the Royal Dental College of Denmark.
Dr. Batliner has held leadership positions in Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, the Veterans Administration (VA), and Delta Dental of Colorado. Currently, he is on the faculty at the Colorado School of Public Health, and he has previously served on the faculty of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and been the clinical dean of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Batliner is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation, which led him to spend the first eight years of his career in the Indian Health Services, providing much needed dental care to both Native Americans and Alaskan Natives. He is internationally recognized as an authority on the oral health of Native Americans, and he still courageously advocates for underserved populations throughout the U.S. in order to improve everyone’s access to basic and essential dental care.
